Formaldehyde Free Insulation

Formaldehyde is used in the bonding of the glass fibers of Glasswool Insulation in the manufacturing process.

Whilst Australian standards ensure we are not subjected to levels that can harm us, some people can have allergic reactions to Formaldehyde products when handled.

Johns Manville have created and manufactured a range of Glasswool Insulation using acrylic binding agents instead of potentially dangerous Formaldehyde. This means you have a product completely safe to handle, it is odorless unlike Formaldehyde products and as the glass fibers are very fine, the product has almost no itch like normal glasswool.
