Description

Thermoseal™ ResiWrap

1350mm x 30m (covers 40.5m2)

1500mm x 30m (covers 45m2)

Thermoseal™ ResiWrap is a extra heavy duty weather barrier suitable for climate zones 1 to 5. Intended for use behind brick veneer walls in high humidity climate zones. Not suitable for climate zones 6 to 8. To comply with current NCC requirements in climate zones 6 to 8 a class 4 vapour permeable product is required. For Class 4 vapour permeable products suited to climate zones 6 to 8 see HERE. It is a single-sided reflective aluminium foil and polyweave laminate bonded using a fire-retardant adhesive. BAL rated for use in all BAL rating from 12.5 to FZ.

ResiWrap can provide a small R-value with the reflective side facing a cavity. Consider this when trying to meet energy rating requirements. Thermoseal™ Wall Wraps are A Protective Second Skin™ that shield your home from water-related weather damage and minimise hot & cold draughts blowing through the home.

Bradford says that it shouldn’t exposed to weather for long periods of time. They also suggest in wall applications to cover the product within 6 weeks, and within roof applications to cover within 2 weeks. Bradford also suggest that you shouldn’t use ResiWrap in roof applications containing slate, concrete, or terracotta. You may be able to get your lock up payment by wrapping the house in this.
